To perform analysis of measured outputs, checking fixtures and manage metrology group.
- Support check fixture design and implementation
- Perform analysis of measured outputs
- Precision measurement
- Calibration of measurement devices including documentation
- Gage R&R studies and capability studies
- Part/component evaluation and recommendation
- Other studies as required
- Participate in Continuous Improvement tools (POSITIVE, POMs, Focused Improvement Roadmap, etc)
Competencies:
- Bachelors degree or 5 years in the quality field
- Knowledge of TS automotive standards
- Extensive knowledge of checking fixture design
- Metrology and PCMIS
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Self motivated
- Able to coordiante more than one project at a time
- Knowledge of ISO, QS and / or VDA
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to interact wtih all levels of the organization
